The meaning and importance of traditions, family history and a sense of community change as they pass from one generation to the next. Adirondack youth will share their stories and discuss work, community, and family.

11:15 AM – 12:45 PM The Heart of the Adirondacks
(Extra)ordinary Women of the eastern Adirondacks share family and community stories and legends, speaking from the heart about their experience of mountain life.

12:45 – 2:00 PM Lunch Break

North Country women devoted to public service share their experiences, perspectives and sense of place.
